We reach the evocative Church of Barsento, set amidst the Apulian countryside. A guided visit introduces the history and cultural significance of this rural sanctuary and its surrounding landscape.

 

At the end of the tour, we continue to a traditional family-run farmhouse, where the owners—a husband and wife devoted to preserving local traditions—welcome us into their home.

Here, you will enjoy an authentic hands-on experience:

– Orecchiette-making demonstration, with the opportunity to try shaping the pasta yourself
– Demonstration of mozzarella and burrata production, illustrating time-honored dairy techniques

 

This will be followed by a light lunch featuring:
– Orecchiette with tomato sauce
– A selection of local specialties
– Homemade dessert
– Coffee
– Water and wine included

 

After lunch, return to Alberobello and Locorotondo.
